Relocating Tenants During Renovation

Case Study:

In redevelopment projects, relocating tenants during renovation is a perfect fit for relocation services such as Peregrine Relocations. Peregrine Relocations is the only small business in the Portland/Vancouver area exclusively providing high quality tenant care and regulatory compliance throughout a low-income subsidized building’s remodeling process.

One example of our work is Ya-Po-Ah Terrace, a 222-unit building of subsidized retirement housing run by Manor Management. The renovation project was building-wide, and required relocating 210 tenants during renovation of 206 occupied units.

Some tenants were able to temporarily relocate within the building, but Peregrine Relocations also found and utilized market rate apartments and extended stay hotels, developing and maintaining business relationships in the Eugene community. Tenants were also able to choose friend and family stays if that was what best suited them during their relocation. Peregrine Relocations conducted frequent check-ins with tenants during their relocations, part of why we can proudly share so many residential relocation success stories.
